This chapter is a great way to meet with other students of color and work on professional communication skills — including working with community-based news organizations such as Madison365 and the Capital Times! In the past NABJ students have landed internships and gotten clips because of their NABJ connection! NABJ will also be working with the newly established The Black Voice on campus, which includes news articles, life on campus as a student of color, art and poetry and columns. In addition, if you have a media project you are interested in, we can connect you with professors to help you work through it!

Students of all backgrounds are welcome! Students in other majors are welcome!

Good stuff. Don’t miss out! If you have questions, contact Monay at cmrobinson4@wisc.edu or L. Malik Anderson at malik.anderson@wisc.edu.
